Standex CARES encourages employees to connect, act, reach, engage, and serve their local communities. We pledge support in the four key areas of education, workforce readiness, humanitarian relief, and community engagement. Through our community partnerships and the dedication of our team, we are creating a better understanding of how manufacturing companies like ours can provide more opportunities and positively impact the neighborhoods where we operate.
Thinking outside of ourselves – and our walls – means giving to our jobs, our families, our homes, and our communities. It’s important to think of our stakeholders not just as the people who own our stock, but also as the people who live in the neighborhoods where we operate. Getting employees involved, volunteering, and sponsoring special projects that help youth, families, and communities succeed means being better global citizens and doing all we can to make a difference.

We Care, Therefore We Act
You can find our employees serving dinner at the local soup kitchen, packing brown bag lunches for the homeless, organizing the food bank, building houses for families in need through Habitat for Humanity, and collecting donations of toys, school supplies, food, and winter coats for children, among other activities. We sponsor robotics teams and coach engineering clubs at local schools too. Events like Manufacturing Day teach students about careers in engineering, manufacturing, and technology. Our Standex Day of Service encourages employees to dedicate one day a year – paid by the company – to volunteer and establish ongoing relationships with charitable organizations.
