Standex Cares is how our people show up beyond the workplace: Volunteering, giving, and building connections in the communities we call home across the globe.
CARES stands for Connect, Act, Reach, Engage, and Serve: Five words that describe what our employees do naturally, in their own communities, every day. From tutoring students and stocking food banks to sponsoring robotics teams and supporting veterans, the actions look different depending on where you are. The spirit behind them doesn’t.
Standex Cares is guided by four focus areas: education, workforce readiness, humanitarian relief, and community engagement. Together, they reflect our belief that a company’s reach should extend beyond its facilities, and that the people inside those facilities are its greatest resource for doing good. At Standex, caring isn’t a program. It’s how we show up in our communities, for each other, every day.
Our partnerships span organizations like Convoy of Hope, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Meals on Wheels, and Dollars for Scholars, alongside direct support for local schools, colleges, and universities. We also match employee donations to qualifying causes, multiplying individual impact across our global footprint.
We are proud to sponsor the Salem Blue Devils FIRST Robotics team every year. In 2025, they won their robot Poseidon, designed for “Reefscape,” and received the Industrial Design Award at the 2025 Greater Boston District event for form and function.
